Highlight's of 2011 so far!!

Jay and I moved to Arizona and we were so excited to be back by family again! And we were so greatful that my parents watched our kids so that we could go to Lake Tahoe. We had such a wonderful time.

While we were there we went on a guided snowmobiling tour. It was a lot of fun and so beautiful!!

Here is our sweet little Brinley Bear. Brinley is now almost 7 months old and she has been so much fun to have join our family. She LOVES Addison and just smiles and laughs so much when she see's here. And she never stops moving. She is so hard to feed b/c she is so busy looking around and moving everywhere. She isn't crawling yet but she scoots and rolls across the floor with her elbows (army crawls) to get to where she needs to go.

She has the most beautiful eyes and smiles. And she gives the best kisses she grabs my face and sucks on it. Its adorable. Brinley has torticollis, which is why she always has her head tilted off to the right b/c her muscles are really tight on one side making it really hard for her to hold her head straight. It affects her on that whole side. she doesn't sit up yet she just falls over. Torticollis also causes GERD (fancy word for major reflux). And then lastll she has placiocephally, which is the dropping on one side of her face. She goes to Physcially Therapy every week. And in the next 3 weeks will be styling in a helmet. All of these things with work, and weekly therapy she will have full range of motion in her neck which will fix the other issues!!

Since we moved back to Arizona these have been Addies partners in crime, Raylee, and Winston her cousins. She has LOVED living next to her cousins, and has so much fun with them!!

Another big thing that happened since moving is Addie getting rid of her binkie. This is BINK the dog:) We went to build a bear and she stuffed all her binkies in there and now has this adorable (expensive) dog from build a bear:) It was worth it!!

Here we are at Win's state wrestling in Prescott. It was so fun be able to go and support him he did a great job!! Win is the last of the Wright's to graduate and soon my parents will be off to being empty nesters!!

Just having some fun with the green wig I took to embarass Win at the wrestling tournament.

Here is Jay and I taking a break to eat some lunch. We skiied one day while in Lake Tahoe. We had a blast!!

Here we are in Thatcher at the Temple. Of course that guy with a mustache is my husband (YUCK) Like many other Air Force wives, March becomes a dreaded month due to Mustach March. Addie didn't even like it this year, Last year she did, don't ask me why!!

And here are our beautiful girls one morning before we went to church. Well I just want to let you know I am going to be back to blogging more than once every two years, so check back for more posts!!

This is what she had to wear for a week until the swelling went down!!

Cute, hot pink cast, that mom and dad have signed!! And some othe friends as well!

And I just love this last picture!! Well as Addison would say she has an "ouchy" Jay had been gone for three days and it was the day he was coming home, I was letting Addison play on our bed as I showered, well as I was getting dressed I saw her twirling and then just twirled right off our bed, and screamed and cried like she never had before. So I waited for an hour b/c she can tend to be a little dramatic, and watched her as she wouldn't move her arm, and it started to look bruised in the fingers and the wrist. So I called a friend to drive us to the ER (b/c Addie would scream when I tried to put her down) after a LONG 3 hours of waiting we found out that Addie had broken her wrist!! This was right before we headed out for our vacation for Thanksgiving!! She has ajusted well, and have told the story a million times to so many strangers b/c everyone thinks it looks so cute. I would have to agree, but lets hope we don't have anymore broken bones!!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN

Jay's parents came in to town over Halloween and we had a great time. We went trick or treating at the squadron (Jay's Work). Then later that night we went to a haunted house it was actually really scary and I am weird I like being scared!! Then we went to Daze in a Maze and Addison rode a little pony, and cried when she had to get off. She LOVES animals and especially horses!! Then we did our church trunk or treat Halloween night. And just had a wonderful time!! We always enjoy having company and seeing family that we don't get to see very much!! Addison loved the extra attention she was getting from her grandparents!! Thanks for coming and seeing us!!

Daze-N-Maze

Here we are at Daze-N-Maze with some of my great friends. We had so much fun running through the muddy mazes, and I would jump out at scare Addison and she thought it was so funny so she started jumping out at me and saying BOO!! It was so cute!! Then we ate at the Golden Chick for the first time and it was actually really good!!

I rarely rant and rave about how cute she is, but really I feel so lucky to be able to stay at home with her and "party" all the time! We have dance party's, go to kindermusik, storytime, friends, and sadly it to cold to enjoy the park these days. But I truely feel so lucky to be able to stay at home with this amazingly little girl that cracks me up on a daily basis!! She is the BEST!!

Fall Festival

Every year Vance has a fall festival, they serve food, have good music, and give away free candy, they have things that you can make and then they send to deployed soliders!! Well this year it was by far the best one they have ever had! It was raining and they did it in one of the Hangars on base, the music was the kind that just made you want to dance (even if you can't:) And it was just a fun night out with family and friends!! And then we got a free pumpkin!! Thanks United Methodist Church!! It was a great day!!

First Hair Cut at 16 Months

Here is the back!! Looks like a cute bob!! I hope I am not sad tommorrow when I go to do her hair!!

Here she is before her haircut!! Have you ever done something and then though, oops why did I do that! I hope it turns out ok she is sleeping right now and really didn't want me to mess with her hair more, but I kinda got sad after I cut her hair. Partly b/c I know she won't have curls anymore! And because she moved and I cut it really short!! Good thing she's not older, o well it will grow!! In my defense it was looking a little straggly and really long in the back and shorter on the sides, the last thing I wanted was a daughter with a mullet!! Here is to growing out without a mullet:)

Vance AFB Fire Station

And here is a cute picture of her in pig tails, I know you can't tell but thought they were cute anyways!! We ventured out and took at tour that one of my friends set up of the fire station, I know she had no clue what was going on but it was something different!! And she enjoyed the friends!!

Eventful Day!!

Well today started out like most, then our friends called us to go walking in the mall! B/c it has been raining here forever, and cold, so we haven't had much outside time! Well as we were loading up after a fun morning of mall walking with the kiddos, I was puting Addison in her carseat and she said "keys" So i gave her my keys to play with while I put the stroller in the trunk!! Next thing I know I am locked out of the car, and am at the mercy of a 16 month old that has no clue what she has just done. Not to mention that I had already put my cell phone and purse in the car. So I just sat there saying and smiling at her to push the button, she just sat there strapped into her carseat laughing at me. So then I proceed to get in the back of th trunk and try to kick the seat over, I am sure this was entertaing to watch. Until a very nice lady let me borrow her cell phone so I could call Jay, who then told me where the spare key was under the car:) I was so panicked that I forgot we had one under there. It made for an interesting morning, and lots of laughs afterwards. This post is to hopefully save lots of mothers from getting locked out of their vehicles. Keep the door open, or don't give them your keys!!

We Moved

Just thought I would let anyone know if they still check our blog. Its been a while since I updated. But with vacations, company, and moving we have just had a lot going on. We are still in Enid but they are renovation the older homes on base, so we moved into a new home and really are loving it. Now that we are all settled and unpacked. Moving is the pits but now that its over it didn't seem so bad. Our new address is 4418 Redpath Dr. Enid ok, 73703. I also have to say that we are so greatful for the wonderful suprise of my parents coming and helping us. They drove all night just to come help us move. It was so nice. We couldn't of done it without them. Thanks mom and dad for driving all that way to help us clean, unpack, and get situated it really means a lot to Jay and I!!

She is at such a fun age where she mimicks a lot of what I say, and she has such a fun outgoing personality. She my little buddy and I just love her so much!!

Labor Day Excitment

She was so scared when it started up that she wouldn't take her hand off the sides to steer the car!!

She loves her daddy so much! I love watching them together Jay is so cute with her, and I am so greatful for such a great husband!

Over labor day we decided to take a break from the packing and go to Meadow lake park. It was the last weekend it was open. So Addison rode all the rides, and we went and ate snowcones. and had a great time as a family. It was also Jay's birthday which we didn't really celebrate b/c we were in boxes. But he got lots of birthday wishes and we will make up for it next year!!

Henderson Clan

While we were in Arizona we got to see the Henderson clan. This is Jay's sisters family. We had so much fun visitng them, here she is with some more of her cousin's they were so sweet with Addison and so helpful. Addie loved the wagon and they would pull her all over in it. We always love visiting the Henderson's we played some games and had lots of fun with them! I am so greatful they live in Arizona and we get to see them!

To Grandma's House We go

Here is Addie, Raylee, and Aunt Desiree taking a tractor ride!! We were so greatful that Desiree and Grandma took Addie so we could go to lunch and catch up with MaryAnn and Wayne!

I have to say Addie is so lucky to have such a great grandma she always takes time to read stories and do all the little things to make sure Addie knows she is so loved!!

Here she is with Daddy playing in the pool in the backyard!!

And here was her first official mess with unrolling the toliet paper. She did it at my parents house. It was so funny we heard her screaming and realized she locked herself in the bathroom and was covered in toliet paper. Since this time there has been pleanty more messes like this!!

And here are all the cousin's with uncle Jared who is now in Africa on a mission. We love getting his emails, and letters, and are so greatful for his desire to serve a mission. Addison had so much fun with him.

And here is me, and my mom's parents, Addison, and grandma!! I have the best grandparents ever, and Addison has been able to see them two times I am so greatful for all the fun memories and pictures to show her when she gets older!!

Here is part of the crew that went up Mt. Graham and went through the caves, I didn't go b/c we had just gotten into town that morning from driving all night, and I didn't want to get in the car again. But Jay went b/c he hadn't been up to the caves before. They had a great time!!

I loved this picture of all of them sitting on the wall!! We had such a wonderful time in Arizona with my family. Lots of my aunts and uncles were there for Jared's farewell, and both sets of grandparents came. It was such a great time. We played lots of games, had lots of wrestling matches, and most of all made lots of fun memories. I love my family so much!!

Friend Reunion

After Jared left from visiting with us. He was here with us for two weeks, and it was such a fun time we had a blast and were really sad to see him go. The same day he left one of my best friends Maryke came to Enid to visit, we had such a nice lunch and a great time visiting. And then I got to go see her in OKC before she went back to El Paso. I have made some of the most amazing friends that I will be forever greatful for. Its so nice to be able to pick right up where we left off. Friends in the miliary are like family b/c we are so far from family that we end up counting on them like you would family. And we know that they will be a part of our lives forever!!

FUN WITH UNCLE JARED

We went to a farm, it was so long ago that I forgot the name:) But we feed the cows and took a tour of their creamery where they make butter and lots more fun stuff.

Addison was so cute she wasn't even afraid of the animals she was sticking her hand in the cows mouth, and feed a horse grain, and the poor kittens were probably so glad that we left b/c Addie was holding them up by their tails.

Happy Fourth of July

I just loved this picture!! We had a great time on the fourth! It started out with a group of us meeting on base for a breakfast, it was pouring down rain but all the kids had fun running around in it and getting soaked. Then from there we went to the Pypers, for a super fun party, Tami is the best hostess, and had lots of great food, fun games, and we just felt like we were home around family, it was really nice! Then from there we went to the Wenks house and they were having a BBQ, I think I gained 5 pounds that day with all the eating that we did! It was great to spend time with all of our friends! Then we finished it off with going to Meadowlake park and watching the fireworks. They have a symphony that plays before and during the fireworks and Addison loved it she danced the whole time, and she really enjoyed that more than the fireworks!! It was a great fourth of July!!

Leonardo's Discovery Warehouse

I couldn't pass blogging these pictures, I thought it was so cute how she was pushing the shopping cart around!!

We have enjoyed going to Leonardo's its just a huge place for kids to run wild, and be kids!! It keeps us entertained at least once a week! Addison usually lets out a loud squeel when we walk in and she see's the HUGE fish tank and then she immediately wants down to run around!!

If you can't tell Addison had a great birthday, she had Blake, Natalie, Alyssa, and Anaka over for her birthday!!

And I was just taking random pictures of her, and liked this one b/c she looks like she is posing for the camera:) For Addison's first birthday we had the Johnson's, Bakers, and Romano's over to celebrate!! It was lots of fun we BBQ'ed and ate cupcakes! Thanks to all of our friends and family that remembered her special day!! We love Addison so much she has been such a huge blessing in our lives!! We can't believe how fast this year has gone by and we look forward to all the fun stages and things she will be learning and doing next :) At her one year appointment, she weighed in at 20 lbs and is 30.12 inches long!!

Captain Wakild

Jay made Captain, and basically everyone makes Captain it just has to do with time in service and then you make the next rank! And so we got to see him flyover if formation, which I didn't get a picture of b/c I was holding Addison, who was scared by all the loud planes. And then we got to see him take the oath of office. It was neat. Then that night Jay and I went to the Captains party and it was a lot of fun, we played some games, and ate good food. I forgot the camera for the party! We are proud of you Jay!!

Youth Conference Chaperones!

Jay and I had the wonderful opportunity to go with the youth to Stillwater for a full day of Youth Conference! It was so much fun, we were so tired by the end of it! We did a 3 hour service project, then we went and play communitcation games for 3 hours, and that included the rock climbing wall! And then we had a great dinner, fireside, and dance. We had a blast! I feel so blessed to be able to work with the youth they are so much fun! And I get to constantly act like a kid again:) Thanks Jason and Emily for keeping Addison all day, we really appreciate it:)

Shopping in OKC

Here she is all done destroying the napkin, that lasted 20 seconds!!

On the way home I gave her a napkin to enjoy and destroy so we could try and enjoy a conversation with my brother Kyle!

All I have to say is teething is no fun for Addie or mommy!! We went to OKC for the the day b/c Jay had it off and Addison was struggling, getting in and out of the car to go into stores wasn't to exciting for her!! But she was a trooper and Jay was the best b/c he entertained her so I could shop! It was nice to have a little day with just us! And she was great at dinner so that was nice, b/c going out to eat with a kid is a gamble there has been plenty of times we have just had to get it to go and didn't enjoy our food at all!

Fun in the Sun

Here we are at the Splash Pad with our side kicks Blake and Haylee! Addie loved the wind blowing in her face!

This is about as close as she wanted to get to where the water was shooting out, but his is an improvment b/c at least she is smiling!!

Could they be any cuter in their swimsuits!! I just love seeing Addison interact with her friends!

I have to say that I will be glad when she can walk, I was so worried about her hurting her knees b/c she was crawling on the cement! Ouch!! Well going to the splash pad was an experience, and I'm glad Haylee was their to enjoy it with me, it really is in the Ghetto of Enid which I am becoming more comfortable with all the time. But the guy next to us was smoking pot, with his kids right by him, old women were running wild and seriously they were probably drunk with their kids, and freaky teenagers were whistling at Haylee and I as we left with our kids!! Well at least we know were wanted:) It was an experience. But I can honestly say that my love is growing for people like this, I have way more patience for them and am not freaked out when I am in the ghetto! I'm learning to appreciate all people from all walks of life, so Enid has been great for me!!

Memorial weekend we went swiming at the YMCA and Addison didn't crack a smile the whole time, she has always been unsure about water and very cautious around it, I think the more we go the better she will get!!

Here she is all turned around in a big girl carseat!! What a cutie, I just love turing around and seeing her just hanging out in the carseat. And yes we turned her around a few weeks early, but car rides were becoming a nightmare b/c she felt to big to be facing backwards so here she is enjoying her first car ride facing forward!!

FUN IN A BOX

Backyard Visitors

During Addison's nap Rosco discovered a turtule in our backyard, how its got in our yard is a mystery since they can't shrink their shells down, but Rosco was VERY bugged by this little guy!

Here he is smelling him, he had some really sharp claws and I thought he was going to scratch Rosco, but Jay saved him and put the turtle outside of the fence!

Jay was mowing the grass and came in complaining that he kept getting dive bombed by a bird, and so I had to show him why, the mamma bird was protecting her babies that have made a nest in our backyard!! I was really scared as I was taking this picture b/c I didn't know if I was going to get in trouble by the mamma:)

Addison is always playing in Rosco's water and trying to drink it like a dog, I wasn't fast enough with the camera to capture her face in the water bowl, but here she is dipping her toothbrush in it:)

I think Rosco is confused b/c she is suppose to be a human!! Thanks ok we are all confused around here, Rosco thinks he's human and Addison acts like a dog!!

I put her in the clothes hamper so that she couldn't eat Rosco's dog food!! She thinks its good, and Jay keeps trying to convince me that its was cheaper and we should feed her dog food!!

What a little trouble maker, but we love her to pieces and she adds so much excitement to my day!!

Called To Serve

Yesterday was an excited day for our family. Jared one of my little brothers graduated from high school, and got his mission call all in the same day! He is going to the Ghana Africa Mission, and reports to Africa August 21st. We are so excited for him and his choice to go on a mission!! We are so proud of you and love you lots Jared!!

We went to Churchhill Downs where the Kentucky Derby is, it was a great museum and it was even better b/c Addie did so well the whole time!

I wish I remembered everything that I read at the museum but this is what they give the winning horse at the Kentucky Derby (plus millions I'm sure, I just threw that little tid bit in there)

Hats are a huge part of the derby and I got to vote on a hat that I liked here!

This was the night of the Thunder over Louisville, we went downtown with Sid and Tina and watched and amazing airshow and the most amazing firework show that I've ever seen. It was great spending time with the Hendersons!

Family Fun In Arizona

Brenda and her kiddos got to come join us we were SO SO SO happy for that. I got to show her where I grew up and all the fun things about Thatcher, it took umm a whole hour:) Gotta love small towns.

Karly got married to Eric Kleinmein in the San Diego temple, it was so special that Jay and I were able to go to their wedding and be a part of that special day for them. She made her wedding dress, its so beautiful!! Thanks Desiree and TC for taking care of Addison so Jay and I could get away!

Have you ever been sooo tired that you were falling asleep at dinner!! Man I have been so busy with things lately it just hit me that I need to take some time and just sit!! I feel like I almost forgot how to do that since Addie was born! She keeps me moving and so do other things! Life is great and life is full. But tonight was one of those nights where I was making dinner and had all these great plans of cleaning the house, going on a walk with my walking buddies, etc.. And guess what I didn't do any of it. Instead I got into bead at 6:45 with the computer, looked at everyone's blogs, caught up on emailing and really just took time for myself. I forgot what that feels like. I also was going to update our blog with pictures, but that isn't happening either. So I will just fill you in on life.
Jay: He is doing great, I feel like at times we just pass eachother through the door b/c we have so many things to do, but we do manage to ind time for eachother!! He is the best dad to Addison and made me the cutest card for V-day and got me a dozen roses. Brownie points for hime!! He is busy with work and school as usual.
Addison: She cracks me up so much everyday! The other day I was showering and put her in the bathroom with me and noticed that she can open cabinets, so cute i thought. Till later that evening I went to throw a dirty diaper away and she had the bottom drawer opened and clothes everywhere, still too cute!! She keeps me smiling all the time. She is liking kitchen toys like typerware, plastic spoons, and banging on them. How lucky am I, I have my own personal band as I am making dinner!
Rosco: He is probably feeling like his life stinks, he hasn't had to mnay walks lately, and has been neglected, but I am making a promise to do better there. He is finding his place more and more, and really a sweet dog to Addison. I know that may shock some of you!
Me: Save the best for last right:) Well like I said I am doing great now that I took the night off from all the things that I have and should be doing, but one thing I have realized is my house might be a wreck but we are happy. Rosco loves to roll in the grass come in the house and shake all over the place (drives me insane) but it adds character right, just like the dust does, and the scum on the toliets and tub etc etc the list goes on!! But I will be well rested b/c I am going to bed before 9 I can't beleive it!! Have a great night everyone!!

We had a photo shoot on December 29th when we noticed that Addie had popped up one tooth !! And then a few days later she had a second one. We went swiming at the YMCA and I saw a little white dot in her mouth, and I was so excited about her tooth popping though!! It gave her a little relief and gave me a little relief from all the whinning that comes with teething!!

We got Addison's six month old pictures taken and I thought they turned out great!! At her six month appointment she weighed in at 16lbs 13oz. She is 26 inches long, and in the 95% for height and weight!! She is almost 8 months now but we are always running behind on updating!! She isn't crawling yet, but she is trying!! She is always learning something new, and it is so exciting see life through the eyes of a child, its the small things that make her smile!! We love her so much!!

We had a wonderful New Years, we put Addie in the church library in her pack-n-play, and she slept through all the noise, what a blessing!! Jay and I enjoyed playing viedo games, and intense game of spoons, and lots of other board games with the youth at our church!! We ate lots of food, and had a wonderful time!! And we even got home before two in the morning (just barely but we did)!! I heard that Leisl has great dance moves as well, Jay told me she can do the whole Napolian Dynamite dance:) Happy New Year!!

Wrapping paper was the most exciting thing at our home, especially for Rosco:)

Addison tried opening her gifts she had help from mom and Rosco, she also enjoyed the wrapping paper, but Rosco would take it right out of her hand!!

This was Rosco's BIG gift this Christmas, he hasn't paid much attention to it since Christmas day.

I thought this was an appropriate headband for Christmas!! We had a wonderful Christmas here in Enid, it was very relaxing and at our own pace. We started Christmas at 9:30 yep we slept in:) We figure we better take advantage of that while we can!! Then for Christmas dinner we went to the Erickson's home and had a wonderful dinner there. It was very relaxing to just stay home, we watch a movies, and lounged around till we went to dinner!! We of course missed all of our family but we enjoyed starting some of our own traditions.

For two years in a row we have gotten together with the Duffins and made gingerbread houses, it is actually really fun!! Addison wasn't on her best behavior and so I didn't get to do much but Jay and Issac put ours together!! Than Christmas Eve we got together, and had a great dinner, and sang Christmas carols, and they opened their Christmas Eve gift. And it was so much fun to be at there home the night before Christmas, the excitement for the kids (and Brenda and I:) was so fun to see, I didn't know if Molly was going to be able to slept she was so excited for Santa!! We had a wonderful Christmas season and we are so greatful for wonderful friends to share that with!!

Poor Rosco, Molly had to put the Santa hat on and get a picture. And he was very patient with her. I think he just knows that he has taken a step down in his life, and I think he is slowly but surely learning to cope with it.

With the first half of December has flown by. Some things we have been upto are we hosted a Christmas party at the begining of the month. And I was so excited for it, and then Addie gets so sick with an ear infection that I ended up just sending Jay and staying home with her, b/c it was just to much!! So there are no pictures of that b/c well guys aren't that great at remembering to take pictures. But I heard it was great and we really appreciated all of our friends understanding why Addie and I didn't attend.

Then we watched out good friends kids so they could venture off to a Christmas party for there squadron, and we enjoyed all the fun things that come along with a 7 and 4 year old:) Jay really enjoyed having someone to play mario kart with.

Then Jay and I went on our first date without Addie, we went to Jays squadron Christmas party, and sorry no pictures there, I think I was so worried about leaving Addie for the first time that I forgot the camera. But we had a great time, and are so lucky to have good friends and neighbors to trust with our precious little baby!!

Then the next moring we went to "Breakfast with Santa" its something they do every year here and Santa flys in on an airplane, and they have stations everywhere, with ornament making, sugar cookie decorating, a cake walk, god breakfast food, and most importantly they have Santa. This is Addies second time on his lap, the first time she didn't cry at all, this time well as the picture shows, she cried really hard. We had a great time!!

For Thanksgiving we went to Kansas City to visit with some close friends Jamie and Clifton. We had a great time and are so glad that they live closer so we can see them more often. Being away from family is hard, but when you have good friends it helps get you through the Holidays. We are so thankful for them, and for the fun time we had at their home.

Fall Festivities

My friend/neighbor Roberta was raking her leaves and Addie loved the sounds it made when she wiggled her legs, it was so cute!! Yeah, she likes crunch leaves too:)

Look at the cute pink poodle/or lamb chop (several people called her that) !! Halloween was really warm so I couldn't get her to wear her costume at the squadron trick or treating!! So she had it on at the Trunk or treat all of maybe 30 minutes!!

I love these ladies, they are all amazing, and such great friends!!

Jay wanted to know what it would be like to hold two babies I think he secretly wanted twins:) This is Addies best friend Blake, he was a cute skeleton for Halloween. Addie gave Blake his first bonk on the head, I put them too close on the floor and she was shaking her rattle, I guess she better get them in while she is still bigger than Blake:)

We bought our pumpkin from the farmer on the side of the road, and then took lots of pictures.

Well most of you that know me, know that I'm not to serious very often, and I perfer not talking about a lot of things, especially if they are serious. But with that said, I love Thanksgiving time b/c its a time to reflect on all your blessings. So b/c I don't have a lot of time to post pictures of all our fall festivities, I will post this, and hopefully get around to posting again, soon!!
** I am so greatful to be blessed with the gospel in my life. It is what guides me to live the life that I have lived. It also gives me so much peace that God will not give us more than we can handle. I love being a part of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints!!
** I am so greatful, for a loving supportive husband. Who works so hard to provide for our family. He is the BEST dad, and never complains when I leave him with Addison, he is so suppotive!! And i love him so much!!
** I am so greatful for the opportunity to be a mother. It has taught me so much about love, and sacrafice. Addison is truely a blessing in our life. It took us two and half years to get pregnant with her, at times that was so discouraging, but I'm greatful for that trial.
**I am also so greatful for my family!! I love my family and wish that I lived closer to them so they could get to know Addison more, but I know that they will be a huge part of her life even if they do live far. My family was also a huge support to me as I was going through my struggles after having Addison, and I am so greatful for them.
** Sisters: I have the BEST sister who is always there to talk to, laugh with, cry with, and to just have that sisterly bond. I love her so much!! She has taught me a lot about being a mom (even though she is younger:) She is the best mom to Raylee!!
**Grandparents I am SOOO lucky to have most of my grandparents still alive. They have been a blessing in my life, and taught me so much about work, family, charity, ancestors, and the gospel!! And I truely love them!!
**Friends, since I live so far from family it is a blessing to have such amazing friends, that have been a huge source of strength to me. After having Addison I had friends calling to check on me, bringing us meals, listen to me cry, babysitting Addison. And just coming over to make sure I was feeling ok. I love all my friends so much!!
**Living in a free country, there is something special about being a part of the military (by marriage of course:) I love hearing the airplanes fly over all day, I love the elderly people that stop and thank me for being supportive to my husband serving in the military. And it has been neat, when Jay is out of town at times wonderful people pay for their meals just to say thanks for serving our country. That has always touched me so much!!
Well I have many other blessings but I did just want to name a few, b/c I am so thankful to be alive at such an exciting time!! And I'm so gratful for Thanksigiving b/c I love to eat and also relfect on all the blessings in my life!!

MOTHERHOOD

What can I say its been 13 weeks since Addison has joined our family, and I am really starting to enjoy it. I can't say that I loved it at first, but I really am starting to enjoy it more and more everyday!! I guess people are right when they say it really does it easier. I am sure every stage has its pros and cons, but I think I am really starting to love being a mom. I don't care what anyone says no one can prepare you for the changes that take place when you have a child of your own. So many thoughts come into your mind and its so overwhelming, and such a bitter sweet experience. Addison has taught me all about sleep deprivation, forgetting myself, and serving others/her all day. And she has made me smile so much b/c she developing such a fun personality. She smiles a lot, and she cries a lot there is no inbetween for this child, but its getting better b/c the crying is becoming music to my ears b/c I hear it so much:) I have started to learn that she is very picky. She hates her carseat which makes going places so much fun, she hates the stroller, but she loves the baby bjorn. She loves facing forward b/c she loves look all around and smiling at people. She loves attention and trust me she gets plenty. Motherhood is a wonderful, but exhausting it makes working 40 hours a week look really easy. Its non-stop but it wonderful!!

We had some good friends come and visit us, it was a relaxing but fun weekend. It helped me in so many ways. 1)It helped take my mind off of my issues 2)I was able to talk about motherhood with a great friend that wouldn't judge me for saying what I thought 3)Its always fun to be around good friends, b/c they are so few and far between. Being in the military you are surround by people in the same situation and its so nice to be able to have people around you that know exactly what its like to miss family, and to need a pick me up on rainy days. I have so many wonderful friends that have helped me get through some rough days and I will forever be grateful for them. Its nice to know when you are feeling blue that I can call a friend and they will come spend the day with me, and take care of Addison. I have a wonderful life and so much to be greatful for.

Addison blessing day was wonderful. Jay gave her a beautiful blessing, and I was so happy that she didn't cry at all during the blessing!! It was so nice to have my family and Jay's dad take part in this special day!! We really had a wonderful time with all the family that came. And it was so fun to dress Addison all up (my mom got her a cute braclet, and head band for this special day) And also Addison got blessed in the same dress that I was blessed in and that was really special as well. Well now that family is gone, and we are trying to get into somewhat of a routine I will be better at updating the blog. I have lots more pictures that I could put of with all the family visiting but I will save that for another day.

SHe enjoys the baby bjorn, which I love b/c I can use both my hands (it came in really handy today at the grocery store) My mom has been her for two weeks and we were so sad to see her go. She really spoiled us, she did the loundry, cooked all the meals, walked Rosco, and even took shifts at night for me so I could get some sleep. It was so nice to have her here, she was a HUGE help. Lets just say that Rosco has struggled with Addison always taking what used to be his place (on my lap) and this is how I spent most of the first week b/c Rosco would not budge, he always had to be right there. He has been pretty funny with the whole thing, he has been jelous but he has been good, he licks her feet, and face, and then other times he just avoides her all together. But I thought this picture was so funny b/c it really sums up how life has been for all of us adjusting to the new addition to the family:)

Rewinding to June 10th

Holy Cow its been a month!! All I have to say is no one can prepare you for the change that happens once you have a child. I decided to start from the begining b/c some people have asked to see what I look like 40 weeks pregnant, so I added that. I won't go into all the details of this day but it was crazy, and it has been hard. And I will just spare you all the details and say that the end product was a beautiful, helthy baby girl. She has brought so much happiness and sleep deprivation, into my life already and she is just a month. Lets just say that she is not the best sleeper, and has had her days and nights confused since the get go, we do have so good nights here and their but mostly they are spent with me up all night. Some nights it takes all I have to get up and get her b/c I'm just so tired, but I know it will get better with time. And Jay and I do love her so much!!

Addison has Arrived!!

OK Everybody, this is my 1st attempt at blogging and I'm under a lot of pressure since this is the announcement of Addison's arrival. Addie was born yesterday (Tues) at 5:01 pm Oklahoma time. She weighed 6 lbs 15 oz, was 20 inches long, and has a full head of dark hair (dont know where she got that from)! A lot of family and friends have been in suspense so I hope I can get the pictures on the blog. We hope you enjoy the pictures of Addison. Today I was just thinking of how grateful I am for friends!! This past week hasn't been the best, b/c Addison has moved and is sitting on my sciatic nerve. Which is making it painful to walk, roll out of bed, and basically anything that requires moving. On Tuesday I was just feeling miserable, and Emily came over the whole day, got me lunch, sat there and did jewelry, made me laugh, and just kept me company!! Which is just what I needed!! At times when you aren't quite feeling your normal self it is great to know you have good friends!! B/c of this at my doctor's appointment he said that he would induce me HOORAY!! So the first week of June is probably when it will be, he said he would next week, but he wanted to on my b-day, and I just had to say I don't think that is how I want to spend my b-day!! So she will be here before we know it, and Jay and I are so excited.

I have been wanting to paint since we moved back here, so I finally last Tuesday decided I was going to do it. It took me the rest of the week, but it was a fun project. I love how all the colors turned out, and our house feels so much better not having every wall white. By the way the red really doesn't look that orange, if you look above the door in that same picture thats more of the red that it looks like. Then after I finished painting Jay and I spent all day Saturday organizing two rooms in our house, b/c I know we will have company when the baby comes, and the guest room was our junk room as well. So everything is all clean and organized. And I feel so much better!!

A couple weekend's ago I went to Time out for Women, in OKC. It was so much fun. We stayed up chatting till after 2:30 in the morning, and just had a fun girls weekend. The talks were great and very uplifting. After it was over on Saturday we went to Target, and then out to eat at the Olive Garden. I had such a great time and it was fun have girl time, be uplifted, shop, and eat at good resturants!!

Well I have to say there are a lot of happy wives right now, b/c it is April!! That means the mustaches are gone, thankgoodness!! Every March, it's tradition to grow out a mustache, so Jay decided to participate this year, and all I can say is I'm so happy its April:) Before he shaved it all the way, he had to do the "Hitler stash" I think Jay was very proud of himself!!

We had such a great Easter!! I finally got brave and decided to have people over (those who know me know I don't like to host things), but it was really fun. We had the missionaries over, with Rob, the Nelsons, and the Dommers. It was fun to just have people over for Easter, and chat!! We had a great time!! Hope everyone had a great Easter. Rosco a.k.a. Vavation Dog

On base for St. Patrick's Day they had a pet parade. So I decided to put Rosco in it, and it was so funny. There was only about 7 other dogs there, but it was fun. This is how Rosco dressed up, as you can tell Rosco gets a little embarassed wearing all his gear!! Anyways Rosco won the funniest pet award, and so he got to pick a toy!!

Ok here is a funny story, being from Arizona we aren't used to changing the clocks, well you would think after living in Oklahoma for 3 years we would be used to it. Well today we got up and went to church and we were really excited b/c we were five minutes early (so we thought). And we heard someone speaking, and I thought wow we started early!! We get there, and then we realize that we missed the whole first hour of church, we were actually an hour late. Jay and I were laughing pretty hard. Here we thought we were doing good and we were going to be on time-Nope!!

ALABASTER CAVERNS

On President's Day we decided to go check out more great spots of Oklahoma. The Alabaster Cavern's is a guided tour, that takes about 45 minutes, but for us an hour to get through. We had a great time making sure rat poop didn't fall on our heads, we also saw ghost (seriously look at the picture in the slide show) and then it followed by the most AKWARD dining experience ever!! We went to this Mexican place (they don't accept credit cards-like a lot of places here) and the food was HORRIBLE, and there was no music and just an akward experience, that turned REALLY funny, b/c we were all trying to be quiet as we complained about our food. Then we headed to Dariy Queen (for the real meal) and I wanted a slush so bad, and the machine was broken, i tried to not show my emotion, but being pregnant that didn't work to well. So I got a shake instead, and tried to move on:( All in all we had a great time, and was so happy that the Wenk's and Johnson's came to make the day way more exciting!!

Well most of you know that I have been going to school FOREVER!! And that I have an application in for dental hygiene school, well I heard back from Wichita State University about a week ago that I was choose as one of the top 75 to come back to the school and take a test!! Now this doesn't mean that I am accepted to the program they only accept 36 students so they are still going to cut it in half, BUT I feel really lucky to have made it to the top 75 my 1st time applying!! So I have been studying for the test, its over math, science, and english. Its a 4 hour long test, and I will find out my score right after I am done with the test!! It's been a little stressful b/c I am not the best test taker in the world, and I am super nervous!! I have decided that I will study my hardest and if I am suppose to get in then I will, and if not I will have fun being a stay at home mom!! I won't know anything else until April, so until then send me good test taking vibes b/c I will need them!!

Happy Valentine's Day!!

Besides Rosco's injury Valentine's Day was great!! Jay had been out of town for 12 day's he went to California, to fly with the test pilot's and test engineer's, he had a great time. The trip just ended up being a week longer than we had planned, which is fine, but it gets to be a little long. Then he came back and had to leave for 3 more days on a cross country where he was in Colorado, and New Mexico. So for Valenitine's Day I decided to do the 12 day's of Valentine's for him, and he would get home and have 4 things waiting and it was really fun. Then on Valentines Day I gave him this cute book that I made with the help of my crafty friend Stephanie!! And Jay really loved it!! Then he took me out to dinner, and the most normal mexcian in town Playa Azul, and he also got me a pre-natal massage!! He is the BEST!! We usually don't get eachother things for Valentines but I decided that since its our last one before we have a little one that it would be fun to do something a little more special!! I love Jay and am so glad to have him as my Valentine!!

POOR ROSCO!!

Well Valentine's wasn't that good of a day for Rosco!! We were at the park, with his two friends Ada, and Pip and I was throwing the ball for Rosco, next thing I know Rosco just fell over. So I go running over there and he isn't putting any pressure on his back right leg, but he wasn't acting hurt, so I threw the ball two more times, and it was so sad he was running on three legs. So then we thought (Emily was there with me and her two fur-children) maybe he pulled a muscle, so we started walking home and he walked the whole way on three legs. So I called the vet and took him in after an hour of debating wether I should go to the vet or not. And I was really glad that I did, b/c he has a partially torn ligament in his leg. And he's over weight he weigh's a whopping 33 lbs, and so Rosco needs to lose between 5-6 pounds so he is on a diet, no table food (that is my fault) and he is on a feeding schedule. I hope he doesn't wither away on us!! As for his leg he has to take medicine for 3weeks for pain, and inflammation and we hope that works, and if he isn't putting pressure on it after a week back to the vet we go!! Rosco had to stay at the vet for 4hrs. yesterday and he got blood work, x-ray, orthepedic exam he got the works!! So no walks for his for at least a week, and then really short ones after that if he shows signs of improvment. It was quit the dramatic day, I cried for most of it b/c I love Rosco soooo much!! Emily my sweet friend got Rosco dog treats, a dog toy and a cute card!! And he has already taken all the stuffing out of the toy she got him, he loved it!!

Ok here are pictures of me pregnant!! I finally broke down and had Jay take some. The reason it took so long is Jay was gone for 15 days, and then he worked late for a while, so I would already be in my pajama's, so FINALLY he is getting home earlier and now I have picture!! I have to say that I LOVE the 2nd trimester, I feel totally normal, I just get tired quicker, but that is nothing!! Everything is going great with the pregnancy thus far, and we are getting more and more excited for her to come!!

This is a picture of all the "kids" that were there Christmas day, my three younger brothers, and my twin uncles Lynn, and Layne. The rest of the pictures are of all the crazy guys tubing. I would of loved to go, but I don't think the baby would of liked that to much. They were getting some major air with the ramp Jay decided to build. It was SO funny!! I ended up snowshoeing its a lot of fun and a great work out.

Doesn't Jay look like Uncle Eddie in Christmas vacation with that hat, I just love it!! We had a wonderful Christmas. Jay got to go snowboarding two days, he also went tubing two days, we played games non-stop, watched a few movies, and ate way to much!! I on the other hand went snowshoeing two days, and started sewing a baby blanket, All of my family is good at sewing and so I am trying to learn, its a lot of fun, and the baby blanket that we started is going to be so cute, they are quilting it now!! I can't wait to see the finished product!! We had a great time, and it was so good to see all the family that we haven't seen in two and a half years!! We hope you all had a wonderful holiday season!!

We got a singing tie, and an airplane cookie cutter at the white elephant gift exchange. We had a nice dinner, and a great musical program. And then there was a lot of crazy dancing. I have decided to share the wonderful news, Jay and I are expecting our first child - yes you read that right first child not dog :)!! We are so excited and feel extremely blessed to have the opportunity to become parents!! I am currently 14wks and we had our first ultrasound last week! It was so amazing to see the baby moving around and actually see the baby inside me! It really hasn't felt real until that point. This has brought about so many wonderful feelings of how the Lord's hand is in everything, and he knows the perfect time (and isn't funny how its never the timing that we think :) Well my due date is June 12th and so we are excited for what the future holds! Sorry I really have just been preoccupied with finishing school, and trying not to throw up that I really haven't told any of my wonderful AZ friends!! So now you know and I am sorry it wasn't more personal. I would love to call you all!

I felt bad b/c I wanted to write more about Thanksgiving but I hit the post button and so now I will just add more this way!! We spent Thanksgiving in Kentucky with Jay's family and we had a great time! Its always good to be with family, Jay had a great time playing football and he also went to the movies with his brother in laws. I on the other hand just had a nice relaxing time with family!! We got to see two of Jay's sisters and their family's and Jay's brother and his parents. It was very nice!! I love Thanksgiving b/c its a great time to reflect at everything you are greatful for. And it makes me very blessed to have the life I have, and be apart of such great families!! I feel very blessed to also have such a great husband!! There is so much to be greatful for!! We hope you all had such a wonderful Thanksgiving!!

This is after Tennessee beat UK, it was sad for Brandon b/c he played on UK's football team. B/c he lost the bet he had to wear the Tennessee sweater to dinner, it was a painful experience for him, but funny for all of us!! This is Brady Micheal White!! He was born on Monday and we got to see him two days later, he is so perfect and we are SO happy to have another nephew!!

SPOUSE TAXI

In the Air Force, they have a day for the wives to put on their hubby's flight suit, they even make you your own name tag, and you go and taxi in the airplane that your husband flies!! So Jay flies the T-6 and here are a few pictures of us on that AWESOME day!! I was SO excited to do this, it really made me appreciate what he does, it was harder than I thought to strap in the airplane, and the gear was a lot heavier than I thought too!! It was so fun, I got to make radio calls to clear us to Taxi it was really fun!! It made me so happy that Jay loves what he does, and that I got to see a little bit of what he does everyday!! I really wanted to take off, but too bad they wouldn't let us!!

Raylee's first bath!!

This is Raylee, my cute little niece!! I got to see her when she was three weeks old!! This is actually her first bath, isn't she the cutest!! It was SO funny I was getting her ready for her bath, and Desiree was doing the bath water, and as I was carrying her over to the sink, I got really warm, she peed on me, I was laughing so hard!! She is SO alert, and strong its amazing!! I was SO happy that I got to see her, even if the trip was really short!!

Pumpkin Carving!!

I LOVE the fall time!! The leaves are all orange, red, and yellow, and its just so beautiful!! I love wearing long sleeves and snuggling with Jay and watching movies!! I always think that from Halloween to Christmas everyone is in the best moods b/c the Holiday season is here!! Here is a few pictures of Jay carving the pumpkin, we waited till Saturday to get out pumpkin and so its kind of deformed, but it has lots of character!! We had fun carving the pumpkin as a family, and we put Rosco in his cute glow in the dark Halloween bandana it was SO cute!! Hope everyone has a wonderful Halloween!!

Last weekend we went to a Halloween party!! It was tons of fun!! K-Fed and Brittney Spears won the best costumes, they were SO funny!! This weekend Jay and I went camping at Roman Nose, it was really fun, we just stayed one night but that was perfect!! Rosco came and loved it b/c he got to swim in the lake, and go on several hikes!! Saturday morning our friends the Duffins met us up there, and the boys fished, and then we all played football, it was really fun, them we had a picnic, and went home!! We had a great time!!

Ok so I don't have ANY pictures yet, anyway but I was SO excited to say that I am an aunt!! This is the first grandkid on my side of the family, so its pretty special!! The baby is healthy, and the labor was great (ok maybe not great but NO complications)!! And now that I am writing this post I just realized that I didn't even ask what they named her ( o my what a lame o I am) But she weighted 6'15oz. and was 19 and 1/2 in. And she is beautiful (I haven't seen her but I do know that she is)!! I am SO excited for Des and TC to be parents they will be the best parents!! I am also so glad that Des did such an amazing job, she never complains about anything and she was nursing already and said it didn't hurt, she is a trooper!! I love Des and TC and baby so much and its times like this that I get REALLY homesick b/c I really want to be there REALLY bad!! CONGRATS to the Fish family, we love you guys lots!!

Well this post is for Des b/c I told her that I made a bag and so she wanted to see it!! Being crafty, and homemaking doesn't come easy for me, and there is a group of wonderful ladies that get together and every month do a craft, and this was the first one (that I went to at least)!! And I did require Krista (the amazing crafty wonder womans) attention (a lot of her attention) b/c I was a little slow at making this, but I was very happy that I finished, and can't wait for the next project and that is an apron!! I love this bag and use it every week when I go to school!! And let me just say its a real guy magnet, so anyone that is looking for a hubby borrow this bag they all comment on it, (ok really that wasn't true I was just trying to make myself feel like everyone loves the bag :)

JAY GOT HIS MUCH WANTED T.V.

Well for all of you that know us, know that we have had a 1960 old, old T.V. so i decided that I wanted a new entertainment ctr, and that is the kind I picked out (and then someone made it for us:) So Jay has been waiting for his 50' plasma T.V. for a while!! Horray he got it and I really can't complain, its very nice!! Now he wants DVR and I had to put my foot down b/c we don't watch T.V. enough to have DVR, and I hear once you get it you can't go back, so we are going to try and hold off a little longer for DVR!!

These are the cute labs that we are babysitting, until they can meet up with their mom and dad in England!! They have quite a rough life, they get to go to the park, and Indiana loves chasing Rosco, and Rosco loves chasing his ball!! Right now Chevy (the brown lab) is torn between two lovers, b/c Rosco has fallen in love with her, and Indiana doesn't like that so he barks really loud in Rosco's face, especially when Rosco kisses her!! We have really enjoyed having the labs, they crack us up daily!! They also miss their mommy and daddy very much!!

GO BYU COUGARS!!

We went to the BYU vs. Tulsa foot ball game!! We had a blast, we went to Tulsa which is a huge treat, b/c it doesn't feel like you are still in Oklahoma!! We went with the Duffins, Johnson's and Waites. First stop Qdoba, for the best Mexican that Oklahoma has to offer, it was so great!! We had a fun dinner!! Then we went to the BYU game, so that was super fun (me and Brenda ended up talked for the most part, but it was an exciting game!! It was one touch down after another, I felt like the two teams just took turns making touch downs, it was a bummer b/c the defensive on both teams wasn't to good for that game!! But it was fun, and we cheered loud for Max (just for you Mckinzi :) All the BYU fans (which there was a lot there were bummed out) Then we got icecream and got home at 3:00 in the morning it was a LONG night, but well worth it and we had a great time!!

100 YEAR CELEBRATION!!

Happy 100 years to Oklahoma, another fun thing was the parade, I loved the Long Horns, it was really entertaining to watch them, one time I thought they were going to get someone in the crowd with their big horns!! There was a lot more to this parade, and come to find out, Jay and I left thinking we had just watched the weirdest parade, b/c it just had covered wagons, and people on horses, after talking to our friends we realized that we had just watched the pre-parade, and that we missed all the floats, good thing we have another year to make sure we catch the whole parade, next time!!

ENID HIGH SCHOOL FT. BALL GAME

Last friday night, we went to the Enid High School Ft. ball game, b/c that is what the WHOLE town does here (very small town)!! So after living here for a couple of years Jay and I decided to break down and start enjoying all that Enid has to offer, the the foot ball game was great, but freezing!!! Jay had a wonderful birthday, he went to work, then we went to dinner with friends (were I forgot the camera) and it was super funny, b/c they came out with a bright orange clown hat and made Jay wear it and when they came out to sing to Jay I told them his name was JZ, so all the waitress's were singing it really loud looking around thinking, is that really his name, it was super funny!! Then we played game!! I love Jay tons he is my best friend and I love spending every free second that we have together!! He is the best!!

LONG TIME NO POST!!

Well I haven't posted in a while, so I decided that I would just write what we have been upto!! I went to Az a week ago and it was a BLAST!! It was so great to see all my family and some of my friends. The majority of the time I spent hanging out with my sister and her hubby, and Kyle came over a lot too!! Then my parents and little bros came for the weekend and it was great, we played lots of games, BBQ'ed, went swimming, and just had a great time visiting. I got to see Nate's new house all decorated cute, and hang out with him as well. I just have to say that I love my family, sometimes its hard being the only one that lives far but such is life in the Air Force. It was great to see Karalee, Stacey, Jaymi, and her little ones, and Cicily. I haven't seen some of them for years, and it was great to catch up with all of them and it seems like no time has passed we just sat there chatting and hanging out. It was great!! BTW there is no pictures b/c I really didn't take any, I was a slacker with the camera this trip.
Well now that I am back to day to day life, I have been going to school, Tues and Thurs at Wichita State University, its a 2 hour commute, but I actually have really enjoyed it so far!! I love my class, its a dietary nutrition class, and the teacher seems great too, so I am really excited for this semester, I am also getting ready to apply to the dental hygiene program there, so I have to volunteer at a dental office as well. And so that is what I am doing for this semester.
Jay has been really busy with flying he is actually flying today (Sunday) b/c there flight is 21 days behind. He loves his job and loves being an instructor!!
Rosco is just doing the usually, being cute, getting lots of attention, and going on walks, but his perfect life is about to be disrupted by two big labs. We are watching our friends dogs for two months before they get shipped to England to meet up with their parents. Hopefully all goes well!!
